Obituary for Richard F. Stanley

Richard F. Stanley, 75, of Leicester, peacefully passed away Sunday, September 1, 2018 at his home.
Richard was born on October 21, 1942 in Buncombe County to his late parents, Horace Stanley and Allie Frisbee. He retired from MB Haynes as a carpenter. He was a loving father and husband who will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Katherine Barnes, Polly Frisbee, Lester and Sunny Stanley.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Helen Crompton Stanley; three sons: David, Ricky, and Kenneth Stanley; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Services with Pastor Tommy Meadows officiating. Interment will follow in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Four Seasons Home Hospice for taking such wonderful care of Richard.
