Obituary for Rosa Lea Clark

Rosa Lea Clark, 98, of Weaverville, went home to be with our Lord, Friday, February 24, 2017.

Rosa Lea was born in Madison County February 12, 1919 to her late parents, Henry and Carrie Lee Norton. She retired from Microswitch and was a member of Dry Branch Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Everette Clark and Clyde Clark; brothers, Glen, Bernard, Earl, Calvin, Junior; sisters, Nellie, Pearl, Erma, Faye and Grace; and four infant siblings.

She is survived by a brother-in-law, Robert Ward; sister-in-law, Dorothy Littrell; several nieces and nephews, including special niece, Jean C. Hunter and her family.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 26, 2017, in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Services, with Reverend Randy Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Bowman Rector cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Elderberry and Mayflower Senior Care for the wonderful services they provided; her special neighbors, friends, and caregivers- Connie Byrd, Orville Arwood, Tim Pickens, Nancy Jamerson, Myron Ingle, Eula Cordell, Tina Shelton and Betty Ramsey.

Visitation:
6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the funeral home

Funeral:
8:00 pm Thursday, May 26, 2016 in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Services

Interment:
Graveside 12:00 PM Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Ebbs Cemetery
