Obituary for Ray Randall

Ray Randall, 87, of Mars Hill, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 15, 2018.
Ray was born October 5, 1930 in Madison County to his late parents, Charlie and Glates Roberts Randall. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He served his country with pride and dignity alongside his two brothers, Wade and Rom Randall. After his military service, he worked with the North Carolina Department of Transportation, where he retired after 32 faithful years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pansy Chandler Randall; daughter, Michelle Randall Justice; seven brothers: Earl, Joe, Wade, Rom Leo, Alvin and Lewis Randall; three sisters: Linda Jean Randall, Helen Randall Jervis and Inis Randall Payne.
He is survived by his daughter, Viola Jeanine Randall Robinson (Larry) of Mars Hill, NC; son in-law, Joe Justice of Claremont, NC; two grandchildren, Joe Justice, Jr. and Carmon Nicole Justice, both of Claremont, NC; brother, Leonard Randall of Woodfin; two sisters, Pauline R. Payne of Marshall, NC and Ruth R. Meadows of Mars Hill, NC; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in the chapel at Madison Funeral Services with Reverends Phillip Parker and Darrell Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Bowman Rector Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 9:00 pm on Tuesday, July 17th at the funeral home.
