Obituary for Everett "Babe" Richard Allen

Everett “Babe” Richard Allen, 91, of Marshall, went home to be with our Lord, Sunday, August 13, 2017.
Everett was born January 11, 1926 in Madison County to his late parents, Charlie and Bessie Wright Allen. He was a World War II Army Veteran who served in France before coming home and working for Great Lakes Steel where he later retired.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Queen Ramsey, brothers, Walter and Howard Allen, nephew, Cecil Ramsey and great grandson, Gibson Everett Allen.
He is survived by his two sons, Everett Richard Allen, Jr. (Becky) and Stanley Allen (Janet); grandchildren, Blue Allen, Joy Michelle, Sarah, Daniel (Beth) and Rachel; great grandchildren, Ryder, Paisley and Stella; sister, Esther Roberts (Drew); nieces and nephews: Margaret Gray, Jackie Roberts, Wayne Donnie Roberts, Charles Allen, Linda Allen, Brenda Hemsath, Timmy Ramsey, Barbara Salisbury, Margaret Harris, Rose Ramsey, Howard Allen, Jr., Lena White (John), Cathy, James and Missy; special nieces and nephew, Carla Allen (Keith) and Stephanie Stills (Brent) and Charles Allen (Kate); and several great nieces and nephews.
A Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 18, 2017, in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Services. Interment will follow at Station Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 17th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
