Obituary for Calvin Alvin Kirkpatrick

Calvin Alvin Kirkpatrick, 77, of Hot Springs, passed away at his home on Friday, September 1, 2017.
Alvin was born April 6, 1940 to his late parents, James and Hazel Kirkpatrick. He was a life-long resident of Madison County and was a retired farmer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Lou Kirkpatrick; paternal and maternal grandparents; brothers, Rufus, Harry and Benjamin (Bud); sister, Jessie; and niece, Priscilla West.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Jean Massie; brother, Joe Kirkpatrick (Pat) of Hot Springs; sisters, Maggie Allen (Raymond) of Leicester, Lucille Holt and Etta Young of Hot Springs; several nieces and nephews; two special grand nephews, Alex and Aaron; and special friends, Mike, Brenda and Regina.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, September 4, 2017, in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Services with Reverend Keith Waldroup officiating. Pallbearers will be: Alex Russ, Aaron Russ, John Holt, Jason Kirkpatrick, Mike Freeman, Jacob Waldroup, Dakota Waldroup, Joe Kirkpatrick, Ricky Allen, Robbie Allen, Mike Jones and Ricky Decker. Singers will be Regina Massie and Frank Willett. Interment will follow at Flats of Spring Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday, from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at Alvin’s home.
