Obituary for Betty Ann Ward Cook

Betty Ann Ward Cook, 86, of Marshall, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017.

Betty was born in Pennington Gap, Virginia to her late parents Coy Ellis and Dolly Sampson Ward on January 31, 1931. She has resided in Madison County since 1973 and was a retired seamstress.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, General Grant Cook; sons: Ronnie, Charles, Leon and Dennis Kline; grandson, Robert Kline; six brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Gosnell (Life Partner, Cindy); son, David Kline; grandchildren, Maggi Ball, Billy Gosnell, Jr.(Terry), Jennifer Watts, Jonathon Gosnell (Shelly), Dennis Kline, Jr., Shelly Kline, Daniel Kline; sixteen great grandchildren; siblings, Carl, Kay, Jim, Alice and Sue; several nieces and nephews, her three grand dogs.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Services with Pastor Jimmy Dean Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowman – Rector Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 12- 2:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at Madison Funeral Home.
