MARS HILL – Carolyn Louise Norton Robinson, 59, of Mars Hill died on Tuesday, July 6th, 2010.
Mrs. Robinson was born March 12, 1951. She was the daughter of Pearl Sams Norton of Marshall and the late Dan Norton. In addition to her father she was also preceded in death by a sister, Ella Wanda Brown; and brothers, Joe and J. D. Norton.
In addition to her mother, Carolyn is survived by Brandon Robinson, daughter, Stephanie Cody and husband, Kelby of Marshall; son, Randy Robinson and wife, Michelle of Mars Hill; sister, Audrey Hensley of Marshall; brothers, Gerald Norton of Marshall and C. L. Norton of Mars Hill; three grandchildren, Chase and Caleigh Robinson and Kalan Cody; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 17th in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home with the Reverend Stanley Peek officiating. Interment will be in Madison Hills Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Madison County, PO Box 69, Marshall, NC 28753.
