LEICESTER – William Jeter Gahagan. 77, of Leicester, passed away on Tuesday, December 29th, 2009 at Aston Park Health Care.
Mr. Gahagan was born August 13, 1932 in Madison County to Grady and Bessie Gahagan. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Jeter was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Andrew and Grady Gahagan.
Surviving are his loving wife of 52 years, Patricia; daughter, Kathy Burnette and husband, David of Leicester; sons, Eddie of Spring Creek and Mike of Leicester; granddaughters, April, Brandi, Meredith and Ashley; and great grandsons, Gavin, Gage and Easton.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 2nd in Bethel Baptist Church, 125 Ben Lippen Road, Asheville, with the Reverends Charles Phillips and Mark Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in New Found Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
